I received my BFA in Film/Video from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I've just received my MFA at Pratt Institute in Photography, the medium I first fell in love with in my high school's vocational photography program.
My projects are about the gentle, fleeting absurdity that pervades daily life. I document bizarre moments I am fortunate enough to catch with a camera, or I create them myself.
I write for the Artseen section of the Brooklyn Rail each month, in addition to other nice freelance writing adventures.
